Your Dominant Intelligence is Logical-Mathematical Intelligence

You are great at finding patterns and relationships between things.
Always curious about how things work, you love to set up experiments.
You need for the world to make sense - and are good at making sense of it.
You have a head for numbers and math ... and you can solve almost any logic puzzle.

You would make a great scientist, engineer, computer programmer, researcher, accountant, or mathematician.

Moving House and special days

It's been so long since I updated. Since Feb we have bought a house, flown to Melbourne, moved into the new house, spent a LOT of money doing things to the house and just this past weekend Easter.

We put an offer in on the house in early Feb that was accepted, very exciting and nervous all at the same time. With a 30 day settlement and a few paperwork hiccups with the loan docs they all arrived on the Tuesday 3 days before settlement. Thankfully ING had their shit together and it all fell into place.
The same weekend we flew to Melbourne for Raz's brothers engagement party. Had a great night, Nathan danced the night away and Raz got very tipsy and was ready to take on anyone that cared to look at him sideways. Luckily he is a happy drunk and it was all harmless fun.

We arrived back to Brisbane and immediately started moving boxes and were actually in on the 17th March. We are still unpacking boxes but we are slowly getting there. Have done 4 loads to the tip and several pickups from Freecycle.

We spent Easter weekend really concentrating on getting more unpacked so that I can spend the next 2 weeks getting the house in order for Raz's 40th Party.

Good Friday we packed a picnic and went with all the old neighbours to Wellington Point for the day. It was great except for the ant bites I got. Man they were vicious!
Easter Saturday we spent at home unpacking boxes. Nathan had his friend Katelyn over for the day. Raz and Nate went to the tip first thing in the morning and ran into Katelyn's folks there so he brought her home. She ended up staying the night and the Easter Bunny visited them both.
It was her first sleep over and aside from a few tears at 8.30 the promise of the easter bunny in the morning was enough to get her off to sleep. They all woke to a trail of eggs from the cat flap to the front entrance where the Bunny had deposited his payload. They then put some slippers on and went a huntin the backyard. Back inside for Hot Cross Buns and Chocolate for breakfast. Nathan ended up going back to their place on the Sunday which gave Raz and I more of a chance to clear the garage. Easter Monday we took a drive to Byron Bay just for a looksee. The traffic coming into BB was horrific and slow but we found out there was a blues festival on over the weekend and there were plenty of unwashed bodies there. I did see a python wrapped around a tree branch as we were crawling past which was fascinating. We just winged it and found a huge market in the heart of BB so we stopped and had a wander through. It rained on and off the entire time but we just found shelter in the coffee tents and just cruised around. Drove back to Brisbane and just cruised.
Today I dropped Nathan off at Katelyn's house and Josh off at daycare. Nathan was all geared up for a day at Australia Zoo but the plans were changed and they all went to Seaworld. Nathan LOVED it, and came home with a soft toy dolphin that when you squeeze the dorsal fin it makes dolphin squeaks and clicks and the tail moves up and down. He also bought a really funky hat.
Also tonight we got a surprise visit from Raz's cousin and our best man Ray. He stayed for tea and played with the kids. it was so good to see him. He might even be able to make it for Raz's 40th which would be awesome.

Ok so thats us for now.
At the moment I have lost 17.5kgs in 10 weeks. I know I have put a little of it back on this past week but am back into it today. I am determined to keep this up I feel so much better and all my clothes are swimming on me.

Ok so thats REALLY us for now

'Twas the night before the colonoscopy

Not a creature was stirring not even a something-that-rhymes-with oscopy.....

Ok this week has been full full full.

Nate started Kindergarten on Monday, he was adamant that he would cry when I left him but he kept the tears at bay, turned out he loved it and loved Mrs Troost's acting skills too. They (her and Miss Aroney) were playacting "Why you don't try to go 'in' the 'out' door" into the bathroom. Nate has told everyone he met, that silly Mrs Troost tried to go through the wrong door and crashed into the wall, all said with the same excited voice 'that kid' does on the HBA ad.
All Aussies will know the one, 'The crocodile came and bit me into parts, pieces. And my head went that way and my legs went that way'

Josh started daycare full time this week as well, just on Tuesdays. He did half a day last tuesday and a whole day this week, he loved it!

Contrary to the title of this post it is now the night after the colonoscopy, yeah ok it has taken me this long to post this. I had the -as my Dad so eloquently puts it - 'tunnel exam' yesterday. There were 3 x 2-3mm polyps removed from my small intestine. I have to wait the results come monday or tuesday before I find out if they are pre-cancerous. Not feeling very happy about it, I went in thinking nothing could possibly be wrong and here there were 3 sneaky polyps in there and I had no idea! It just makes me want everyone to have a check up done. The preparation isn't very nice but the actual procedure is a piece of cake! They even gave me a DVD of the event! It was actually quite fascinating if you don't think about where they actually are taking the footage from.

Ok so anyone interested enough to be reading my blog please please please get a check up especially if you have a family history of bowel cancer.

Happy New Year Sluggo

Hey Happy New Year, usually I feel all rejuvenated with all the promise that a new year brings but for some reason I feel really sluggish and lack motivation. I feel like I am putting one foot in front of the other. So to bring myself out of this funk I have a very large To-Do list that I am determined to get at least ONE thing done off it each day, yesterday happened to be two.
The wireless network got setup yesterday and we put the car into the Auto Elec to have the battery issues sorted. Today I have to get some medical issues finalised and find Josh a daycare place .
Raz gave me a 3 hour pamper session at a dayspa for Christmas but I feel I am putting off taking it until I feel that I have got my to-do list in order.

Next on my list is to book a Podiatrist to slough off 4 years of callous from my feet so I can enjoy the foot massage I will get with the above voucher at said dayspa also gotta get a face wax beforehand as well.

Thursday I am going back to Weight Watchers and although I don't want this blog to turn into something all about my weight I will probably still post how I am going if only to get my post count up and running again.

Anyway once I get off my slack bum, get our holiday photo's off the laptop and camera then I can put some pics up too.

Ciao for now
